Game ending early

If the game ends before end of war in BTR is there a way of continuing?
If you are playing Allied and get "Sudden Death," then, no. You are cashiered.
Although...
If you have a save from a few weeks back you might be able to replay the turns and get your score high enough not to get cashiered. Don't worry, after a couple of tries you won't need to worry much about this issue. I had it happen a few times on the learning curve and haven't seen it for years.
