Overlooked Theater?

Anybody considering doing any scenarios on the campaign in the Aleutians? Attu was a small ugly fight and Kiska could have been much worse than Attu if the Japanese hadn't withdrawn.

There may not be any interest in it for a while with UV just out but....

I had something like this in mind while reading the "Lessons Learned" brochure from the US military in WW2 long time ago. It had a nice chapter on some fights on Kiska I think, with lots of interesting tactical details. I think even some map was included.

Nonetheless it´s not currently on my "to do" list.

Thanks Harry, Maybe I should take a stab at it myself. Been cogitating on how to do it all morning.:D

yeah...also would be a nice opportunity to try hands on the "mountanizer" programm! :D Interesting theme for a scenario design these Aleutian battles! Have fun.:)
