For the BoB game....

The Germans did have drop tanks for both the Me-109 and Me-110

Are they included in this game?

Depends on the campaign.  In the 1940 campaign the 109E-7 can carry a drop tank.  All the Luftwaffe fighters can carry drop tanks in the 1941 campaign.

for the fighters, they needed the carrier

which basicly became standard with the E-7, and then back graded to earlier models

(sort of like the Allies, you will hear/read about wet and dry points, a dry point will carry a bomb, as it does not have the plumbing for fuel, a wet point, could be used for either a bomb or a drop tank)

one of the 110s in the 40 campaign carries a drop tank, that it can not drop

The BF 109E-7 did have the wet point to carry a drop tank.

It was not used operationally, because the plywood contruction leaked and the pilots beleived it to be a hazard.
