Hi. I can't figure out how to use open teleports. I figured it would be the same as a wormhole, but when I try to use it the same way as that, I get the message that I haven't got the technology I need to use it. FYI I have the full "wormhole-related" research tree and don't have any problems using wormholes.

Never mind. I didn't realize that you need the more advanced communication tech to use it. Makes sense now that I think about it.

You don't need the advanced communication tech to use open teleports.

And to use them, just order your ships as per normal. If they start from a location with an open teleport, they'll arrive next turn.
