Hi all. I just discovered the Matrix Games page, and you have a lot of very, very interesting stuff there. The Barbarossa game and most of all Horse & Musket seems to me the game I've always wanted (adding a campaign mode...), especially the opportunities the editor offers are just awesome and make for endless replayability.

I don't have Internet at home though. Do I require a connection to install the game? Or can I download the game on my brother's PC, then pack it onto a CD and install it on my on internet-less oldtimer? And can I pay by PayPal or do I require a credit card?

Sorry for the stupid questions, but I am not familiar with those new ways of buying games...

You do not need to have a Internet connection to install the game, so you can save the download and install on your computer, just remember to write down the Serial Number from the invoice.  And, yes, you can buy it with PayPal.  I hope you enjoy the game.
