I have a general question for the CC community. Which Matrix games (new) version of Close Combat has the most online players and games going on?

I've been away from all the CC games for some time, but now I'd like to play a little bit online. I think I will have to buy a game. Is Cross of Iron the best choice? I heard C.O.I. had dedicated servers and multiplayer action going all the time? Or does a different CC Matrix game (Normandy or Bulge) have more online players and thus easier to find a game online?

On the other hand some newer CC versions from Matrix may have improvements over Cross of Iron. I'm leaning towards trying to get the most popular one and then trying some online. Multiplayer games sound cool.

I'd also like to hear about any new games that are similar to Close Combat. Perhaps there is something else out there I don't know about.

Well, I would say it's fairly obvious by now it's not this one. [:D]

I don't know meself. I have all the ones made by the 'other' companies and don't feel the need to buy an old game that simply has a new coat of wax. [8D]

Close Combat Cross of Iron is the most popular H2H CC game of all time. Here is the proof.

ok the most played game of CC played online i think would be CCV mod GJS but soon a remake of the mod will be finnished modded from the LSA remake of CC2,there is also a new TRSM comming modded from TLD. both these mods should be top class.
