Couple editor questions

I would like to mod the Beaufighter, I am still checking to see which model(s) used the rockets. The questions are;
I looked at the various torpedo bombers because I want to set Beaufighters up like them, ie if there are torps available then they would carry one (if applicable to the model) or they would default to bombs and rockets. I can't see how that is done. Is this an editor thing or a code thing?
I looked through the editor several times but I don't see the British rockets, for sake of arguement, would the US 5" work in place of the british 60lb.
I also want to arm the TBM's the same way for late war, so the same questions apply to them, how do I modify it so I can default to bombs and rockets when I don't want to use torps.
As another option I thought about using the extended range for the rockets but I don't understand how that is set up in the editor either.
Thanks

The Use Torpedo button in the game determines this. If you make a Beaufighter with one torpedo and 8 rockets it will carry this if Use Torpedo is selected. If not selected it will carry two, I beleive, 500 # bombs and the 8 rockets.
It's esy to create a new rocket. I've added the Tiny Tim to my mod.
Just add the rocket to the TBM. Note that they will always carry the rocket despite main load.
IIRC the rocket and drop tank need to be in the same slot (or both have to be exterior? Check an aircraft that was drop tanks and a bomb load). The rocket will go in WPN slots 1-10. Drop tanks in 11-20.

You can customize the long-range load-out of your aircraft. That's what slots #11 through #20 are for.

This is what I am trying to avoid, carrying torps and rockets. So far it appears that they either carried a torp, or rockets and bombs. As far as you know there is no way to do this in the editor?

For the RAAF in to PTO, rockets were not used until very late in the war .
Cant find my book at the moment, but I think only 93 Sqn had its Mk21's outfitted to carry rockets.
Cant talk about the RAF Beaus' in Burma.

Then I may just stick with putting rockets on the TBM's if I can find a way to only allow the bombs and rockets and have a switch that just puts the torps on.

Found this while looking for information on the 60lb rocket and thought I would share the link.
