All -
still learning the ropes.. but it seems the more I play against the AI the more I understand/and then question..
so for all you vets...
heres my question.
playing Guadalcanal Allies vs AI
I am forming a new task force to get some much needed troops/supplies to PM
I am around turn 9
anyhow.. I am ready to build my first amphibious TF and load them up....
but after I dock the TF and click load supplies (resource/fuel) how can you tell when all the troops are loaded..?

reason for this newbie (dumb) question is.. the TF that unloaded at Lunga.. well I wasnt sure how to tell if ALL tropps were unloaded.. I clicked on the ship.. but not sure what tells you (full or percentage of troops on the ship)

any chance of getting some help.. or maybe (fingers crossed a snapshot of this info) ?

Thanks !

Click onto specific ship and see if it has ground unit fragment listed under ships armament.. If no, then ground troops were unloaded.

On the TF panel, if there is a number next to the ship in the Troops column, then there are still some aboard.

Don't bother loading supplies on an amphibious TF. Just load troops and supplies will automatically be loaded after.

ok.. I need to figure this out...
I restarted Guadalcanal...
I want to 'test' loading troops
turn 1..
Brisbane
I created a simple task force 2
1 XAP and 1 XAK
made destination PM
clicked on load troops..
but.. only the HQ Aussie unit is to select (which I can load)
but..
what about all the other Aussie Brigades..
how do I select them to load
Are these units not in Brisbane ?

I am totally flustered...

sorry for these idiotic questions..
but really want to figure this out

If the Aussie units have an (R) behind their HQ listing, then they are restricted and can't be loaded onto a ship.
