the recon scenario is cool... groovy map too! thanks man! I've only just started it (between pbem and testing) but we're hoping to make a defiant stand!

Its in the hands of Hellcat...took me 2 hours to buy my units:(
I wanted to set the year 1946 but the system would not assign a Jungle map...oh well, I will have to use those 2,658 pissed malitia on another crazed victim:D
on our first try with Warriors map I had about 40 squads of them set up all over Hellcats rear! Now I have to fight the old fashioned way,,,,by kicking arse!:mad:

and then...after the few who live, lands right ontop of Beserek Jap B class Infanrty and die a slow painful death as my Ninja's pull out thier long knifes and filet some of "Down Under BBQ"

WOWEEEEE smoke um if ya got'um! Hellcat, did your momma never tell that smoking is bad fir you?
so hard to file a full report on this battle, because it really is not a battle, its more of several skirmishs all along the entire front and in my rear. I guess I should report that Hellcat has been pushing me back about 3 hexs per turn...he will never win that way..
he did kill a pair of 150mm MRTs with 150mm OBA
oh well..guess I will just have to release my other 15236478214 troops..

well them japs are dug in like dingos in a dust bowl up North, Coastal gun bunkers and caves! we'll flush em out soon enough... we always like to have a barbie about this time of day anyhow...
not seen anymore of them stolen stuarts yet! Our boys behind the lines are continuing to stir up the hornets nest and disrupt the japs
, more you say eh? dunno about that... we'll have to see what happens... :p
We're still advancing, in jungle 3 hexes a turn is just fine mate! we'll get there don't you worry, any vehicle that has rushed off ahead has come a cropper so infantry support is the order of the day.
I just heard a rumour our reinforcements have arrived
I am glad I got all those flamethrower units, they have earned their points already!
Jess shot up one of my arty parks with his kawasaki madmen, that won't be happening again!
Jap engineer units seem VERY lethal! we'll have to put a bounty on them!

Well slow and deadly! 1 tank for 1 AC this turn...still pushed back another 3 hexs in the south..but held the middle and the north...
Hellcats flamthrower units are dieing as fast as my tank killa's and snipers are now..he is also down a few inf. units..

my back room buddies have disabled another tank and taken out an AA gun... we're moving forward in all sectors... thise little 2 man flamethrowers are cheap to reinforce my friend! and have sent some of your engineers going 'aiiiiiiieeeeeeee' flaming into the jungle. Hellcat is good...(as you know from my arse kicking on roundtop)
but I had a gut feeling he would rain many anzys down in my rear..so far my defence in depth is working fine as he is landing in the middle of well defended areas:D this is a very very fun battle..and I really look foward to Hellrats own surrender papers!

you can take those surrender papers and...
we're crossing the stream which roughly divides the battlefield (north - south) and the other side is mainly Jap territory. The newly arrived airborne have discovered (ok landed on) an arty park in the North but are also blowing up tanks wherever they can be found. We've also linked up with some earlier airborne further south.
'Cave bustin' has begun!
