We are looking for someone who enjoys a challenge and fast-moving, reliable play to step into a game now in 1812. I'll be honest, it's not a pretty picture for Austria. Our game has been going on for just over 2 years (real time) and is now at a critical stage with all of Europe at war and the outcome hanging in the balance. Austria, as a member of a 4-nation coalition, has just seen its army devastated by Bonaparte and needs to rebuild. While there is no hope of an Austrian win at this late date, an experienced EiA-er will gain much satisfaction and the admiration of peers by leading our Austria back.

A huge advantage of joining us is the prospect of being among this legendary circle of players when a new game is begun. Ours is an experienced group which has consistently demonstrated a high level of fast, reliable play (24 hr phase limits, but typically faster), fascinating diplomacy and a great sense of humor. This is how the game was meant to be played.

We Prussian have a similar, but somewhat different problem with krauts.
