OK, I'm fairly new at this. My LW night fighters seem to have a very difficult time finding the enemy and scoring kills. Last night shot down one bomber and lost two fighters for a net gain of -1 [&:]

I'll get numerous contacts with the airborne radar but never seem to get good results, any advice?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike

there are some other posts along these lines, so would be easier to go them to and try to follow what is going on then to repeat it all here

also, I think in the War Room there are some posts on tactics

in the start of the 1943 campaign itis shortly after the introduction of "windows".......the German Himmelbett tactc does not longer work.....therefore they started to use "Wilde Sau"

In game.....in the first few dark nights ( no moon or only a fraction of the moon - look at the rise and setting times of the moon) you will probably get no kills against a normal raid.....you will only be able to score a few kills....but using Wilde Sau over an bombed target the fire on the ground will illuminate the bombers and you can probably get more kills....

The German NFs will adapt sooner or later and you will be able to score more kills, but also the enemy will get some new tools (and so on)
