Island Occupation and War Declaration

I've noticed a little issue which was also present in the board game that could be exploited especially by GB.

Rule 6.2.2 says "A major power already at war with another major power may not declare war on other major powers if unbesieged enemy infantry corps are already inside its home nation." This is a sensible rule stopping players doing silly things while being attacked.

However Spain and Turkey both have islands that are part of their home nation, if they were at war with GB, GB could leave a small corps on one of these island and then they would be unable to declare war on anyone else. If GB had naval supremacy (very common) they would effectively be forced to surrender unconditionally or be left in limbo.

Could I suggest that Majorca, Crete and Cyprus be excluded from rule 6.2.2 ?

I'm sure this possible BUT I would delay this until we get a few more pressing items under the belt!

Not a problem I'm sure as long as people are aware, just raised the issue with one of my groups and they have readily agreed to a house rule.
