HI all, please go this link and see the current views on the game in the Sins-Galciv2 community. Some think it can become a good game and are interested, others are worried about the graphics and the AI (i.p. if the AI will be able to manage all the things as well as the human player if it is automated, the MOO3 risk). Please share your thoughts and convince the Sins-Galciv2 crowd to have a look at this game!

I love Gal Civ 2 and I gave Sins a try (several times), but Sins just wasn't my cup of tea. Playing Sins was like herding cats, once I got one situation under control, another popped up, on and on. The deal breaker for me was the diplomacy in Sins, or rather the LACK of it. I'm hoping DW offers much more in that regard (and it seems like it will)...
That being said, there was a lot to like about Sins, and I hope their fans will give DW a look see.

I'm now playing Sins+Diplomacy expansion.... (waiting to jump to DW)
I don't know... but something in this game... feels me unconfortable.
The diplomatic actions seams like "random events"... and not as a developed story.
maybe is only my personal opinion... but "SINS" is not "really" a 4x game
something is missing.
I hope ( and every i have seen till now is going in this way ) DW can give now life
to 4x games.

SINS was kind of a let down for me as well. Like mention previously the diplomacy, no real fleet tactics. You just zerg your forces in and hope they win, or retreat to repair. Technology is non-existent, because I don't consider a upgrade research. The MOO series has the way technology works and affect the game down to a science. SINS comes no where close to this.
I love how they handled the presentation of a Space RTS, which is what it really is. It is truly not a 4x, I guess when viewed as a Space RTS it makes more sense.
