No losses after end of day?

I have noticed that if I run some late Night raids by Bomber Command that not all Bomber or Night Fighters have landed by the time the game does its end of day update.

This was a particular problem in that I finally worked out my Intruders and they were taking a decent toll of landing night fighters.

Its as though the game said enough, combat ended, no more ops losses etc.

WAD or Bug??

not really a bug, but you should try to end your day, before the day runs out, it is going to cause trouble one of these turns

(your going to get some units to just start crashing out of the blue)

the next day starts at 04:30, try to get all your missions home before then

The problem as a defender is that when the attacker has had all of their missions return to base and you have a Gruppe/squadron taking off, then you have NO chance to recall it before the day has endeed.

Last 4 Whirlies in BoB on that account

It would be of assistance if the game didnt let me run raids that couldnt return in time. Once I set out for Berlin and similar ranged targets this could become a problem.

well, game does have a cut off time for raids taking off

overall, I would think that would be part of the players job, not to take off on a 7 hour mission, with only 2 1/2 hours left in the day

with the way the game works the missions, not sure that could be done

we do try to give you the info you need, take off time, time on target and what not

not sure what we could do to try and help, most of what I see, would hurt more then help, not sure if the AI will know if your going on a 200 mile trip or a 1000 mile one

if you can think of a idea of what is needed/would help, maybe post a suggestion for Harley to think about (he got to do the coding to get it to work)

I'm drawing blanks
