The short answer is: any.

Well urm it's not right. Gotta find that somewhere on the forum, but putting them too low will trigger a glide attack, and too high a level attack. You don't want that to happen, especially if you're attacking a naval target with low-xp planes.

I use 10,000 feet and they dive bomb the target but good.

Lets take an example as a question. A Duantless 3 DB attacks from 20,000 feet - will it be a dive bombing attack? Is this altitude bettter or worse than diving from 15K or 10K all other things equal?

Dive bombing is 10k - 15k
 
Glide bombing  is 16k -19k
 
Level bombing is 20k +
 
Low level bombing is below 10k
 
What MichaelM did not say in his definitive post is what actually happens in the 15,000s feet, or 19,000s feet bands.  That is, if you put your dive bombers to 15,100 feet, is it still divebombing, or has it moved into the next band viz., glide bombing.
