Hi All,

I have a '39 Campaign (Version 1.7 with Hotfix) playing as Axis where I have started my Barbarossa on the May 9th turn of 1941.

It is now August 16th of 1941 and in all of this time the german Kriegsmarine fleet with 1 CV-group, 6 BB-groups, 16 CA-groups and 11 SS-groups have never had a single Sea Battle Combat with the Sovjet Fleet in the Baltic!!!

In addition there is another Fleet there with 7 U-boots and also the Prima Sequadra fleet of the Italians (I managed to cap England and Gibraltar at the end of 1940 and the Italian Fleet sailed into the Baltic to help out with Barbarossa). And all of these as well have never had ANY battle of any kind with any Sovjet fleets. Neither side has found the other!!

I keep getting "No Sea Battles" message in every single turn!

At first I thought, well maybe the Sovjet Baltic fleet is holed up in Lenningrad not sortieing out - fine. But after I capped Lenningrad on the 16th of July this situation has not changed.

Fed up with this all I loaded the game to play the Sovjet and have Axis AI to just check out the situation in the Baltic and low and behold - the entire Sovjet Fleets where all in the Baltic!!! One Fleet with 13 groups (B's, CA's and SS's) and about 7-8 other Fleets with 1 SS in them.

Obviously at minimum in the 3-4 rounds since capture of Lenningrad there seems to be some error in the search function of these Fleets....neither side has found the other for one single round of combat!!!!

Has anyone else seen such a situation? Is this a Bug?

I've checked out the save game files and sure enough the fleets are in the Baltic sea node and the ships file is ok as well. The saved game is working otherwise without flaw as well....

I also have to mention that I have managed to eliminate the Allied coalition in April of 1941 with the capture of Iraq!! Could this be influecing something?? - There was acutally 2 rounds in my game (end of April and start of May 1941) in where the Axis coalition where completely at Peace and at war with no one!!! [:'(] imagine that...

Unfortunately for me I get the message "No Sea Battles" every single turn. I just can't get rid of the feeling that for some reason my game / saved scenario seems to be in some kind of fleets-can't-find-each-other loop.

I had a lot of sea battle with Great Britain - but none so far with the Sovjets. The game works fine in every other aspect.

A wild speculation of mine is that through some kind of rare constellation of factors this no-find-loop was created. Don't know what that could be though.

As I stated earlier I have eliminated the Allied coalition and actually had some rounds in where the Axis coalition was at peace (!) - in thoese turns the "No Sea Battles" messages began and haven't been stoping since then - could that be resulting in something / be source of the problem?
