Hello,

To the best of my knowledge I have V.P. cities. France still does not surrender. Can someone double check me on all the V.P. cities? Or am I just missing somethin?

Beruit and Aleppo, in Lebanon and Syria, are VP cities which you can miss.  Also if France conquered any country during her battles the VP cities in that country must be taken away from her.  I am assuming you looked all the way down the North African coast to Tunis, Oran, Algiers and Fes.

Nantes, did you take Nantes.

You don't have to take all the North Africa VP cities. You do have to take Nantes which is not a VP city. There is a recent thread where this was all covered.

Surrender, not accept an armistice, is the question I thought he asked. If he is looking for a Vichy state then your answers are correct, but France can be conquered, and it happens quite a bit against ornery human players.

ahh you are correct my mistake. I just usually go for Vichy. BTW in one of my current games, last night, I got an event where allied activity in Vichy France fired an event where Germany takes over all Vichy territory and naval units. Quite a boon for Germany if you ask me. I had not seen that event fire before.

I have seen it twice recently, and I agree it is great for Germany. French ships everywhere, and just when you thought the seas were safe!

How do you make this happen? I really need those ships Chuck.

I think your enemies must make it happen by their actions.
 
However you can use diplomatic points to bring Vichy in on your side.  Vichy France is expensive but doable.  There might not be ships though.  They can be scuttled.
 
In my AAR there will be no French Navy left if France falls.

I still don't understand diplomatic points and how to earn them. Very mysterious for some reason.

Every country gets a DP each month and the amount is equal to value in countries.csv

Remember also trhat since each gameturn is a fortnight, DPs are only added every SECOND turn.

I would say every fourth turn as each turn is equal to one week.
