Man read forum. But in short.
1) No carriers/fighters.
2) If you mean orbital colony or somne sort of closed colony on unhabitable worlds then propably not.
3) Fully controable.
4) Mining bases and construction ships. Yes. Drones? Propably not.
I have also have some questons.
1) If high agressivnes give bonus to ground combt troops?
2) If it possible to fortify planet to make invasions longer(reducing fire rates for both sides or something) giving time to send relif forces to sieged planets?
3)Do you can project ground combat units like ships or there any difrent types of them (with possibility to upgraded them)?
Or is is someting like MoO2 solution with basic ground units(and militia) units with tech/racial bonus?
4)If there are special traits or perks that races can have? I mean something like Skilled Defenders(bonus to defned plantes from invasions) or Skilled Gunners(with bonus to chance of critical or hit)? I mean perks not related to normal traits(like Agressivnes/Reproduction Rate etc) in numbers.
5)How hard will be add carriers and fighters to the game? I remember that in Starship Unlimited that was handled pretty good. becoze DW has some similirites with SU(but looks better and are awesome big). I wonder if it will possible to dd fighters in similar manners. Something like carriers launching small strike groups(with no hyper drive ability) as independent mobile weapons platforms.

1) If high agressivnes give bonus to ground combt troops?
Yes, racial characteristics affect strength of troops - high aggression and intelligence make naturally stronger troops. Troops who have had combat victories also increase in strength.
2) If it possible to fortify planet to make invasions longer(reducing fire rates for both sides or something) giving time to send relif forces to sieged planets?
Not really - the factors that determine the length of the battle are the number of troops deployed (more troops on both sides means longer battles) and the size of the defending population (higher population, along with defending troops means longer battles). If you have troops loaded on a transport nearby you can deploy them as reinforcements, but ground battles are usually resolved reasonably quickly - they don't normally drag on for several minutes. We can tweak the length of ground battles post-release depending on feedback - and this is probably also a good candidate for exposing as a moddable setting.
3)Do you can project ground combat units like ships or there any difrent types of them (with possibility to upgraded them)?
Or is is someting like MoO2 solution with basic ground units(and militia) units with tech/racial bonus?
If I understand your question correctly: can you design unique ground troop units? The answer to that is no. Troops are different for each race (strength determined by race's aggression and intelligence), but you cannot design custom troops.
Yes, each race can have various bonuses (or disadvantages) in various areas. These bonus areas are outlined in the customization guide on page 6. We can add more racial bonus areas if players identify ones they'd like to see.
5)How hard will be add carriers and fighters to the game? Carriers and fighters would certainly be nice to have if done right. Wouldn't rule it out, but you couldn't add this feature through mods. We'll have to see.

Thx for fast reply. And for reply at all.
AD1. If I understood corectly that if your troops wining on ground they get stronger? Thats mean that some units become stronger(by experience) or your military(all ground troops) get bonus due to global morale experience or military tradition)[or something else] rating?
AD2. About long siegies/invasions. Taking planet isnt easy thing. If planet is fortified(by strong points, hidden supply base or undergroiunds fortification) and easy to defend(due to size climat or terrain) even if invasion force has big advantage that dosent mean that invasion will be short and easy. Land battles take much time that space battles. And even if main land force is defeatet there still be possibility that some geurilla fighters will tied enemy invasion forces on surfaces dont allow them to move on next target. Also I love idea of Tokyo Express(
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_Express) or blockad breaker to send support to sieged planets. But that is my personal poiont of viev.
AD3. Agresivness and intelignce you say. Ok. But if it possible to strenghten your troops by technology? Like in MoO by inveted some new rifles, armors shield or whatever?
Ad4. I know about customization guide. But it will be posible to add some special traits like (MoO2 Lucky, Traders or something like that) or there will be only traits that are in cutsom guide?
BTW
6) Are you planing to add system governors/fleet admirals? Similar to MoO2 characters but rather in grater numbers?
Also if some goverment system will have some sort of political body like parlament or senat?
Or other citizen representition?

Yes, victorious troops get an experience increase. That is, the specific troops that won a battle, not for all of your empire's troops.

Those are good points. I'm happy to tweak the attacker/defender balance for colony invasions if necessary, based on player feedback.
AD3. Agresivness and intelignce you say. Ok. But if it possible to strenghten your troops by technology? Like in MoO by inveted some new rifles, armors shield or whatever?
Not currently.

If there's additional traits that players think of, it's possible that we may add them later.

Currently no governors or admirals, but that is a direction I'd like to take at some point. I really like the idea of having individual characters that influence your empire. But it takes work to get this right, so maybe later.
Each government type has its own characteristics that provide advantages and disadvantages to your empire, but the inner workings of this are not represented (i.e. parliaments, etc)

I really like the approach that was taken with the Europa Universalis: Rome expansion pack. There you don't just have different characters in your empire that have individual attributes and traits, but they also have their own goals, friendships and rivalries. You as a player can assign characters to different positions with government, research, military or religious functions (and depending on your system of government, different positions in the government sections would be available).
It definitely makes your empire by itself feel more alive and also adds the factor of domestic management to a game that originally had a very strong emphasis on strategic warfare. However, the sheer amount of characters in a larger empire makes it hard to keep in touch with what exactly is going on within your realm. Though the developers DID try to limit that by assigning all characters to one of the few dominant families you have within your realm, so that you don't have to know the details of each character, but can concentrate on managing and promoting one of maybe four families.
Hope this might have given you some ideas - best character system in an RTS I've seen so far

Those are awesome ideas impact. I'll keep them in mind for later... [:)]
I guess the hard part is avoiding a micro-management nightmare. This has been a key goal of Distant Worlds: detail without the hassle.

Anyway thank you for give me your feedback [;)]
I will very pleased to find carriers & fighters (se5 have it... but with a horrible management)
and Orbital colony (like SAID of Gundam anime).
For the 4° point:
Mine = small object to lay in space with a powerful charge of explosives (nasty surprise) [:D]
Just another question...

Experience gained in battle works in starship ?

There is no ship experience - but you can retrofit them to use newer tech.

I love the idea to have specific character that influence our empire...
Maybe we can use structures like "fleet accademy" or even standard colony for create it
(at random or by level e development of specify colony).
Civilization (I think) use this system to create special units
This option will open the door to other graphics (as portrait of character) [:D]
If the problem is (ok... now we have 300 special character to handle...)
is possible to put a "CAP" to the special caracter in one single race... (as MOO2)
or implement... death for old age (or violent death in battle or assassination).
Personally i hate the death of my character for old age... but i can live with if forced [;)]
