Planets & asteroids stuttery motions

I'm just wondering if the stutterish motion of the planets and asteroids we've seen in the videos so far, could be smoothed out somehow, like having them fade between each location instead of harshly snapping to the next location on the grid. (i assume its a grid with coordinates)
The game looks great so far, but thats the only thing i've been a bit dissapointed by. It may get old really fast as the hours pile on, to see all planets and moons etc have such jagged motions.
I suppose speeding up the game will help, until it moves so fast that these location updates essentially run at your visual framerate, but that'd be annoying in a gameplay stress way

Just my 2 galactic credits [:'(]

I think it was related to the video capture program they used, I mean, everything is choppy in the vids, but everyone says game plays and looks smooth

Yes, that's a function of the video capture program, it doesn't stutter in the game itself.

Maybe it'll still stutter on my outdated rig... will see [&:]

I've got this rig:
Laptop
Windows 7
Intel Duo 2.0
nVidia Geforce 8600M 256MB
4GB RAM
Not the most modest system, but not state of the art. The planets moves smoothly and all looks good! I do turn down some of the nebula effects, partly for personal taste and partly to avoid any performance lags (not that I've seen any, but I err on the side of smoother performance on all my games). If you have a dual core, the nebulas can run smoother, but there is at least one tester with single core that has a good experience.

But it stutters in a different way in the videos than say, the mouse cursor and the ships moving.

Yeah, the planets seem to moving along a circle of a line that is staggered (like a circular jagged line drawn from low pixel count) instead of an arcing/curving smooth line of a circle. The ships move smoothly but the planets seem to move in tiny, annoying, staggered increments.
Or...if it really is the video capture and the ships just are not affected from it like planets....then I look forward to checking it at game release.
