Hey everyone, has anyone tried playing armada on a 1000x1000 map lol ?
I just created a random one on the game map editor and it looks really gigantic, i dont have the time to play that till the end but would like to know if someone tried it

It will have saving and processing issues later. The new update has temporarily removed the larger maps and limited them to 300x300 I think it is.

You can still make large maps in the editor. The thing is not to fill them up with too many stars though. The game starts to a bit slow and short of memory when you have more than a couple of thousand stars.

You can do interesting stuff though, such as making separate areas that can only be reached by wormholes, or making a nice galactic spiral with clearly defined arms where you can easily travel along the arm, but not between them.
