OK, please tell me how i can replenish ammo and fuel underway with an AO or AE ship? do i attach them to a TF or what?

Have both TFs in the same hex and then click on replenish at sea for the TF you want refueled

I think can't underway replenish ammo in 1942-3, only 1944 and after. Or was it 1945?

You can also order task force to "meet" and then refuel! For ammo I believe your AE has to be in port and disbanded with supply loaded on it to replenish other ships that are docked in the same port.

OK, got it. Understand that i have to bring 2 TF into same hex and then select replenish. Does this work in '42?

Sure, it works in dec 41 so I would think it works fine in 42. Haven't quite got to 42 yet in my games. Just remember Ammo replennish needs to be done in port till much later in the war as I understand it from earlier posts and comments by others.

No at sea ammo replenishment until late in the war. Not there yet, but if it follows WITP, it wil lbe Jan 1 1945.

Fuel is a can do. Tactics on how vary based on mission of force being refueld. Generally speaking I put an AO in a long range destination transport convy and trail all combat combat convoys. For the latter, set up a replenishment convoy and use the function in task force destination of the AO TF to meet xyz task force and give refuel. Lots of varieties of this.
