may i please know which game ANW or HCE has more requirements for memory/CPU etc? It seems to ANW requires more than HCE, but it surely depends on scenarios. It might be because ANW has more complex computations than HCE.

I think that you are right about the size of the scenario being the single-most important factor.  I have seen both ANW and HCE scenarios make my computer run like molasses.  The only real problem I have noticed is during MP/LAN usage.  Large scenarios will crash the MP/LAN server even if individual players have very fast internet connections.

I was told that both games "hog" the CPU power, but will readily give it up when other processes/applications ask for some of that processing power.
