Can the manual be printed without the dark "UV?" How?

When using your printer try using a setting of "photo quality"

And in the acrobat print choices pick "print as image"

Also make sure you have the latest Acrobat Reader installed. It comes with the CD and can also be downloaded from the Adobe website fore free:
