Moscow teeters on the brink....

New units (nice, big ones with high readiness) rushed into the Moscow cauldron to rotate out units which had taken a pummeling at the hands of Techex's fascist minions. A Soviet counterattack by 3 corps launched against a German Panzer Korps just northeast of Moscow failed to dislodge the offending fascists. Other local attacks also suffered ill results.
Stalin is beside himself in an empurpled rage bordering on apoplectic as he considers the fall of the country he has dominated and whipped into suppliant servant.
All the while, Radio Moscow extolls the virtues of service for the motherland, and the certain defeat of the fascist enemy.
Russian children are issued with the newest versions of the old moisin-nagant rifle and sent to hastily built regiments in the Moscow suburbs.
Boys and men of small stature are hastily given tank driving lessons and told that their mothers, sisters and wives will be well provided for by the Soviet state once the barbarians have been pushed back to Berlin and taught appropriate lessons.
...and this secret....dug from hidden files in the Lubyanka...For some unknown reason the amount of underpants supplied to the central commitee has been trebled.
All of the Sovjet Union waits with baited breath...ok...reeking of vodka breath...
