Hi

I've not posted a crash before so sorry if this is not done most usefully as it might. I received this error, and then the DW carried on running but instead of stars and ships, just a white background with a thin red cross right across the whole screen. The menus still worked, but no space any more. Just the once so far.

I just got the same error. The menus was still active, so I saved the game hoping it would work. Restarting the game and loading the save didn't work. All the menu graphic was gone and the game didn't respond besides the Windows 7 halo.

I have the save game if any body want to take a look.

1. Zoom out completely. 2. Zoom in on an area outside the galaxy. 3. Zoom out completely.

This gives me the error every time.

Operating system is Windows XP with service pack 3.
