I like the fact that you can find abandoned ships floating around in space and ruins on planets. It makes the galaxy feel lived-in and adds to the feel that there's more to the galaxy than meets the eye.

And let's just say that some of the things you can find... Well, the editor is not the only way to re-arrange the landscape.

Yes I like it too.

Question though. I'm trying to investigate an abandoned frigate but my ship keeps asking to investigate and it gets stuck in that loop until I say "leave it alone" It won't take the abandoned ship over. The only thing I can think of is the shields of the abandoned ship are at around 240 or whatever. I wonder if I need to drain those shields with weapons fire then investigate. Hmmm.

Edit---Nope. drained the shields and still in the "Should we investigate?-investigate-game paused-unpause-Should we investigate?" endless loop. Oh well I'll just have to leave it for now until something else happens.

If you have a savegame for that mbar, I'd be keen to see that.

Feel free to upload the savegame to the Matrix FTP server. Follow the instructions described in this thread: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2415085

Thanks
Elliot
