I see that there are resources in plantes and moons. What I am not shure of is, what does this mean? What is the % of? Can anyone explain it to me?

Also while I am at it, I noticed when I scroll out of my home system and keep scorlling out, I noticed a blue ring (I think it was blue) that expanded past a few other star systems. What is it? Is this the range of my ships? I couldn't find anything by reading the manual. Could have missed it though.

I think thats the "strategic" importance of your homeworld. Its larger cause its awesome [:D] The large dotted thing, when you have ship selected, is how far current level of fuel can take you :)

The percentage, I can't say much about it... I believe its "amount" or strenght of the deposits on the planet

percentage is something called abundance I believe. It signifies how much efficient your production is. 100% is best of course.

There's a ring that shows the edge of your system and if you have a ship selected, there's a ring that shows its effective range.

The % on the resource is their abundance, which determines how easy they are to mine.
