Australia Campaign:
The events of the beginning of May 1942 shocked the allies. The Invasion fleet set out from the Rabaul and Truk bases with the intention of attacking Port Moresby and other targets in the south-eastern side of New Guinea. Two groups of ships, commanded by the aircraft carriers Shoho, Shokaku and Zuikaku were to lead the attack for the troop-carriers. When the command of the allies learned about the enemy plans, they decided to use one of their last trump cards in this region - the American aircraft carriers, Lexington and Yorktown. During the first day of combat, the light aircraft carrier Shoho was sunk. Air fights started next day resulting in heavy damage to the deck of Shokaku, sinking of Lexington and damaging of Yorktown. Admiral Takagi decided to take a big risk and attack using the planes from Zuikaku only. The strike was successful - the damaged Yorktown wasn't able to defend itself and was sunk in half an hour. The way to Port Moresby was open. A successful landing and the taking of New Guinea opened the door to the Australian continent for the Japanese. In August 1942 they went further south, landing in the northern part of the continent...

Iwo Jima:
Placed between the Home Islands and the Mariana Islands, Iwo Jima is a threat to the attacks of Superfortresses that bomb the Japanese cities. Its capture would end the danger of the Japanese fighters and would also make it possible to prepare bases for the Mustangs that escort B-29 in their long flights. Considering the fact that Iwo Jima is one of the Tokyo's districts, the Japanese are not going to let it go easily...

Okinawa:
The ideal location of Okinawa made it the next objective of the American attack. The possession of the island would make it possible to bomb targets in Japan and in China and in the future it would become a toehold for attacks on the Home Islands.

Pacific campaign:
The unexpected attack in the morning of the 7th of December 1941 on the American Pacific Fleet without a war declaration, resulted in heavy losses and a dishonor to Americans. So far neutral, the USA went to war. The first part of the conflict will be dominated by the Japanese that are well prepared and have the advantage of strategic surprise.

Guadalcanal A:
The aim of the first American offensive on the Pacific is Guadalcanal, on which the Japanese engineering troops are finishing the construction of an airport. Placed at the enemy's back, this position is to be a starting point for a counteroffensive, which will change the course of the war. Everything rests in the hands of the marine troops and the sailors supporting them.

Guadalcanal B:
After being dislodged in the initial stage of the battle for Guadalcanal, the Japanese intend to recapture Henderson Field at all costs - an airfield that allows the Americans to control the island's airspace. Reinforced with the troops transported by the Tokyo Express ships, the Japanese will try to deal a final blow to the marines.

This is a WHATIF right? A kind of Battle of the Coral Sea where it would go very bad for U.S.
