2 different types of resources at the same planet or moon?

I am wundering can you have 2 different type of resources at the same planet or moon? By this can you have a gas resource and a mineral resource? So would that mean I have to build either a gas or regular mine at the moon?

I want the Terallion Down resource. I am shure I have to build a mine station there. Also there is Tyrderios wich is a gas resource. So if I build the mine station, does that mean I can't get the Tyderios. Can I build a mine station and then a gas mining station?

The reason I ask this, if on a Ring world gas giant, I had a gas mining station there, and I tried to build at Resort base there as well, and I couldn't do it for some reason. So I am thinking you can only build one type of base at a planet. Is this correct or did I do something wrong?

I really need the Terallion Down resource since that is whay my citizens are asking for. So I want to make shure, do I put in the gas mining station or the mining station? For now I have set my constructor to make a mining station there. I just want to make shure if I should do the other one.

Just design a mining base that handles gas and minerals

Never thought of that. Good idea thanks.

So am I correct in thinking that you can only build one type of base at a planet or moon? Can I have a mining base and a resort base at the same ringed gas giant?

You can only have one mining base it seems, but the other STATE-Controlled bases aren't limited in quantity

Isnt terallion down a luxury resource? If thats the case, the gas miner can mine it :)

Yes it is a luxury resource. Why can a gas miner mine something that is not gas? This is interesting.

Because both types of miners contain the Luxury Extractor component

Thanks, I didn't know that, so I will just tell him to make the gas miner then. Thank you.

Actually, if it's on an ice planet, I would stick a gas extractor on a normal miner and use it, since it would pick up any other normal resources (don't know if it's just the two or more, but could be useful down the line)
The extra cost and maintenance is extremely small tbh, so it wouldn't be much of a bad thing

Anyone have ever seen a gas miner that requires a mining engine and a gas extractor base?

Nope, just the gas/mining and lux combo ^^

so far I have only seen ice planets have luxury and gas on them. In fact, I have never seen anything with both a gas and a mineral so putting both gas and mining components on a design would be wasteful.
