I'm trying to play a game via email and the file my opponent sent me will not open. I load the file into the DAT/SAVE folder and when I start the game the file does not show up in the saved games page.

When I try to open the file from the DAT/SAVE folder I get an "ERROR: unable to find BOB data"

Anyone have a fix

Are you putting it in the \dat\save\bob folder? If not make sure you do.

Are you already in the load menu when you do? If so, go back to the main screen then into the load menu, as it won't auto-refresh.

I also have a problem opening a PBEM savegame file. I get the message: "The users on this computer are not authorized to open this file."

Is this because I had opened the same file on a different computer previously? Is this some kind of security feature and is there a way around it? I would really like to be able to play the game from both my home and office PCs.

you need to have the same BTRUSER.DAT file on both computers.
