Hi guys I was wondering how many of you gamers have heard of or played Pax Imperia Eminent Domain from 1997,this is one of my favourite ever pc games,please check out the link if the game is new to you,I can highly recommend it to you,it's a great game[;)]

played it alot about 10 years ago. great game other than colonies being soooooooooooo annoying, how they auto built just constantly, colonize a world that could never create profit

I'm still playing it,I play as the Schreki as you know they can live on nearly any kind of planet,so almost every planet is a good planet.[;)]

I preferred Imperium Galactica 2.

I never understood why you couldnt colonize gas giants as the schreki IIRC

They can live in empty space but apparently not high pressure. [:-]

Well, there's that pesky problem of falling to your doom due to lack of any solid ground until you reach a point at which you are crushed into liquid or solid hydrogen. To properly colonize a gas giant, you need to be some kind of floaty thing.

I thought it was a turd.

One of my all time favorite games.

I used to play as the Schrecki all the time, then played as the Kybus.

I usually play a custom race now.

I can win 95% of the time on the hardest level without building a single warship or planetary defenses.
Fill transports with medium fighters, a point weapon, add some armor, and designate 1 as a mine sweeper. You'll be at war with everyone because all the races will perceive you as weak, but you can afford a war on multiple fronts.
