Shipset for the stargate "Tauri" based mostly on canon stargate ships, with a combination of X3-TC parts and non canon stargate ships.

Extract into your DW customization folder and select the "Tauri" theme.

Version 1.1
Altered military ships for a more fluid progress.
Version 1.0
All civilian ships finalized & first release.
Version 0.7
All military ships finalized.
Version 0.3
All bases complete and finalized.
Version 0.1
All Basic Military ships completed.

OMG the ships are flying in now.
This game is getting better by the day........ships look fantastic btw.

Edit. Have you tried the darker looking ships ingame yet. I'm a bit concerned about the contrast, blackness of space and all that. Of course I am naturally paranoid so please don't take offense and send the shadow people to take me away[:'(].

I think you should merge with the other stargate thread !!!

Toying round with a few other ships that may fit in well with this shipset.

Very nice shipset, once it is finished and complete will it be possible to integrate in the mod which is coming on the universe of stargate ?

Looks great.  My only comment is that the destroyer looks like it has fighter bays.  I would think that should be reserved for Cruisers or maybe even just capital ships.

Once complete it will be released as a standard shipset, so easy enough to then intergrate into any combi mod. As Distant Worlds is somewhat limited at the moment with a lack of ability to make extensive mods, I'm hesitant to get involved with merging and will just be making ships for the time being.

There is indeed docking bays as its a daedalus class vessel. I'm still at the stage of swapping some ships around in regards to what role they fill, and with having to find other sources of ships to fill the extra roles means most of what is up at the moment may find itself shifted to a different role on release.

Few possibles for station designs.

Please....Beta, want ships can't wait. must have in game also some of the stations look like they come from X3 Terran Conflict.

in all my impatientness I saved the attachments to my computer and put them ingame myself you'd be surprise how sexy your cruiser frigate and destroyer look combined with the front of the exploration ship cut off and used as engines for this massive spawn of hell love your models. awaiting the true release

Updated with completion of military ships. Should get all civilian vessels finished and a release out tomorrow.

Amazing! Although they may be a bit too uniformly lit, how about trying a slight slight "darkening" effect around the edges?
