ENHANCED FINAL RELEASE (Enhanced FR) is going thru final testing, and double checking of everything, to make sure we didnt miss any screw ups....its coming soon....looks to be the best ENH version since Enh was first introduced.
All kinds of new goodies, special units, hundreds of error fixes....etc etc...

Also shortly after, ENHANCED FR NL (native language) will be released...
This mod will be the exact same oobs as FR but will use the native languages of the nations involved for units, weapons, formations..etc etc...

The testers have gotten quieter this week, so that means no errors are being found, which means, it getting closer.....Just wanna make sure we dont put it out there, then start finding mistakes...

I am looking forward to seeing any changes in the USMC and the Japanese. I'd expect there may have been some changes in weapons stats and some minor changes in the units.

Actually the USMC oob didnt need much done, I think a truck or 2 had wrong carry capacity, and one LCS unit wasnt showing up in any buy menus, a unit or 2 had the unit class changed to avoid buy menu run offs, not much really.
The Japanese had a few things done, most notably was that the Japanese artillery menu was a mess, duplicate units, units classed wrong, units with wrong names, using wrong weapons, wrong start and end dates....units showing up in wrong purchase menus, the ones suppose to be showing up NOT showing up......after research, the artillery and infantry gun units and formations have been cleaned up.
both oobs as did all others had weapon stats and spelling errors corrected

and this next item will effect both oobs (and others)

Some "special" landing craft have been added to allow the unit to creep one hex up on the shore and load and unload troops and equipment, as opposed to always having to be at a dock. One is in Japan OOB (AXIS), One is in USMC OOB(ALLIED).. These units should be used for long WW2 Campaigns, special PBEM Campaigns, or by designers, as they have the potential to be a gamey unit for human Vs. human unless 'terms' are discussed.

Thanks for the info, Alby. I've already stored my old OOBs in a separate location (for comparison). As you know, I make a few custom edits for my own purposes.

I will, I just moved and am just now getting my internet back, I'll be busy for awhile, but that will give you guys time to look everything over....any complaints from bart yet??
