Supply view?

If there a chance of adding to the game a supply view that would give exact supply level for every visible hex?

Theoretically in future it is possible, but ATM I`m far from promising it due to crunch time, I mean finishing of Storm over the Pacific makes us totally busy.

That is of course understandable but maybe SoP would benefit from it too?

That would be a nice addition. Remember that the supply for a mech or armored unit will be different than for infantry. Perhaps the best idea would be a graphic display that shows each type of unit's supply in the display. With some effort, which means time, this would be a very cool addition.
The effect of ZoC will also complicate things, but I think this would be an effort worth doing.

It could show supply for the currently selected unit, i.e. the player would see what exact supply that unit would have should it be placed on a given hex.

That should be very "do-able". It would be fun to have a "sandbox" mode where you could set an "undo" point and then move units about. No enemy unit discovery would be possible, but you could shape up your desired positions, and then go back into "reality" mode at your "undo" point and try an obtain these positions. The discovery of enemy units would be turned back on, with their ability to screw things up.
I know nothing like this is going to happen soon, but it would be cool I think.

PS : Your supply view would help with the "I flew to a single hex island, and now can't fly out!" problem.

Indeed, if the original idea is to complex to implement, we could just have a key that displays in red all the OOS hexes.
