I just reported this on Mantis (#676), but does anyone know how to transfer factors from a depot garrison to a corps? You can transfer from a depot to a city, and then to a corps, but what do you do if there is no city in the area?

If you can not transfer factors from depots to corps, then this an important bug that should get fixed in 1.08.

It works fine you just have to do it in the reinforcement phase.

Maybe Marshall could tweak this to allow land phase transfers as well as then we coudl skip more unneeded reinforcement phases and speed things along.

I just ran a test, and could not transfer factors between a depot and a corps in the reinforcement phase, either. Even if it did, it is ridiculous to think that you can not transfer factors to a depot during the land phase. This should be fixed.

I've done this fine, I don't see a problem with it.

Some further investigation reveals that the problem kicks in when there is only one factor in the corps. Likely because the game is trying to prevent you from depleting your corps during the land phase. With more than one factor in the corps, you can initiate the transfer by clicking on the corps. There appears to be no way in the land phase to initiate the transfer from the deopt.

And David, is correct, it works fine, both ways in the reinforcement phase.
