EIA Install Problems

The download version of EIA will not install. It seems to go through the entire process, but hangs at the file c:\matrixgames\Empires in Arms\WindowsHelp\Windows6.0-KB917607-x86.msu .
I've unplugged USB devices, Ive disabled Anti-virus, I've made sure the DPI is 96, and I have searched high and low for the fabled " New Troubleshooter Installer" but it doesnt show up where its supposed to be.
What else is there to do?[:(][:(][:(][:(][:(][:(]

Try re-downloading?

Nope.
Might be nice to have the ability to re-download. I was not able to find a link to re-download. I was able to find the 9 different patch/aar videos but nothing that will let me re download the game even though i purchased the extended download service.
*** I did find that if I went to digitalriver.com and typed in my order number and password I could get a link to redownload.

Operation Redownload didnt do crap for the install problem. I don't think there was anything wrong with the original download either.
However I did get a windows update that changed some windows files that had similiar extensions to the ones that were hanging on install and after installing _that_ plus a reboot fixed the problem [:)]
Figured you were not with matrix NeverMan, the response was too quick. Very appreciated tho

Glad to hear you got it fixed. Yeah, I just thought maybe the dl got corrupted..

Sorry for the download issues you had! Curious, What version did you end up downloading (On the first install)?
