Question on ship repair/building queue getting stucked

I'm having trouble with a queue at a station not getting finished. The ship have been stuck there for like over half an hour. Some ships are in the queue for repairs/retirement and it's not getting done because two ships being constructed are not getting finished.It is a base I found and there is only 2 shipyards in it. I'm assuming that there is some resources missing from that station preventing it from finishing.
Is there a way to remove the ships that are in the queue for repairs and send them at some other station? They don't seem to be accepting orders, and I didn't see any option or command in the right-click menu to cancel their mission.

In the construction window for that base (construction menu) there is an option for "removing ship" but I'm not sure if that just removes it from the list or deletes it entirely. Perhaps you could save and try it and let us all know!

I tried it and it deletes the ship. Not very convenient to lose a ship just for 1 damaged armor... On the other hand, since the ship is "lost" to the queue of no-return, might as well get half it's price back! Maybe this needs to be looked into in some future patch...

usually its not the ship yards, it the part's plants that are the issues. You have enough plants there right? (weapons plant, high tech plant, etc)... those build components, shipyards just assembles them / disassembles them.
Another thing, the two ships that are stuck? do they have enough raw materials? you could be short on the raw materials needed to build them which means they are stuck until you get a shipment via freighters.
You can upgrade the spaceport to a larger version with more then just two construction slots via selecting it, right clicking, and selecting "retrofit" and then selecting a medium or even large space port. New components will be built and will come online immediately as they are being built... this means that you will get new docking bays and new construction yards fairly quickly as the materials those require are likely to be in stock.
