I see that Slitherine has put out a small patch 1.2.6. See http://www.slitherine.com/news/ Is this patch unique to the Slitherine version of the game or will Matrix also make it available? The change list seems fairly substantial.

I don't have immediate plans to purchase the latest expansion. But when I do and install it, will I need to re-update? from 1.2.5 to 1.2.6?

The expansion does not include the update (unlike our release of Rise of Rome) so if you have already updated to 1.2.6 (or later) the Storm of Arrows expansion will not put you back to an older version.

Patch file says it's incremental. From what version should be installed?

There are currently two updates:

1.1.2 and 1.2.6

1.1.2 should be installed first, then 1.2.6.

Sadly, the announcement publicizing the release of update 1.2.6 says that it is a comprehensive patch; it is not. Patch 1.1.2 is required before patch 1.2.6 will apply.

Our bad on that, it should not have called it comprehensive. It includes 1.2.5 but you still do need 1.1.2 first.
