This thread is to say Publicly to Elliotg, THANK YOU!

Also to say a Thank You to Erik.

It's been a while since I've had this much fun with a Space 4X game.

And while it's true there are "bugs" yet to squash, this is a playable and enjoyable game.

So Again, THANK YOU for making this game and for publishing it.

I'll just say that it's been quite a few years since I was interested enough in a game to post this much. You guys are doing a great job with it. And the community here is pretty good as well. [:D]

I wouldn't thank until you reach the late game and hit the Irreversible, Unstoppable, Uncontrollable Corruption Creep. Everything looks good until then, but once corruption passes 50%, things start to go downhill fast. It's unplayable this way. Catch you all in a few months or so, I'll see if things have improved by then. Or if they've gotten worse.

I did reach the end game, I conquered the entire galaxy.

I think you posted this in the wrong thread. anyways, upload that one.

You've posted this in at least three threads. I'm sorry you experienced this, but it also didn't happen in my late game testing, so I think that the most helpful thing you could do is upload a save file. As I posted elsewhere, corruption is about diminishing returns and it has a cap by design, so what you describe is not what's intended or what others have seen in their late game testing.

To everyone else, thank you for the thank yous! I'll make sure Elliot sees this thread too.

Regards,

- Erik

I'm raising this thread back to the 1st page.

And I am encouraging Everyone that even slightly likes the Game to say so.

Let Elliotg and Erik know that we DO appreciate their efforts. Lets be honest, the game is still developing and there are still "Bumps" in the Road. But what other Space 4X has caused such a stir as DW has lately?

Again, Thank You Elliotg for your Dream child. And Thank you Erik for Publishing it.

Agreed, and as this is a thank you thread, lets keep complaints, bug reports, and feature requests out of it please? there are various specific threads/subforums for those to go at. No need to threadcrap.

I would echo the sentiments of most here: Thank you, Elliot and Erik, for creating this great game and, also, for your continued dedication to tweaking and fixing issues. Most of us really do appreciate all of your hard work and just want to encourage you.

This game has been far more enjoyable than most of the games I have tried the past several years.  Thank you for all your efforts.

I will also add to what has been said - DW is a great game and one of the best game purchases i have ever made. Bought it after reading some nice reviews about it, and especially the fact that it is well supported by Codeforce & Matrix Games, through patches, new content and feedback to customers. Thanks Elliot & Erik!

Sure, DW could do with a little polishing here and there, but i really think for a first release it has got a lot of things that i like in a Space 4X game right straight off.

This is one game i will definately play for a long time to come and if any expansion packs or new DW titles come out, i will buy them too! [:)]

Yes I definitely throw my hat in for a resounding "Thank You", this genre that we all so much love has really gotten a rare gem and big boost. It will go a long way in bringing new PC gamers into the 4x market and thus possibly inspire future developers to pay more attention to this much starved segment.
