File exchange for single corps battles solution

Buried in another thread is a brief discussion on the balance between AI controlled single corps battles and game speed (the fast option) versus file exchange single corps (the slow option, but one that gives more player control and military intelligence).
There is a way to have both player controlled single corps battles and speed. Two small changes are required:
First, to list of standing orders, we can add "file exchange battle", which if selected means the defender with the single corps wants a file exchange battle. Seems straight forward.
Second, once the battle starts, instead of just a single "done" button to finish your battle turn, have another option for "done, and let AI complete battle". Then the AI would run the rest of the battle, until a decision about a second day of combat is required. Also seems pretty straight forward.
What will happen is that we will increase the number of battles, but at the same time we will decrease the number of file exchanges (this would apply to any battle or siege no matter how many corps involved), so we'll get about the same speed (or maybe faster than what we have now), but with the player control and military intelligence we all want.
If you think this creates too much incentive for file exchange battles all the time, then we could implement an optional trival battle type thing, where PP are only lost or gained for battles where there are file exchanges. This would give players an incentive for a fast battle, but they would not get any military intelligence either. some what controversial, but an option.
I think if we implement the first and second steps, this would close down the gap between Matrix EIA and the board game EIa by 90% and would love to see it implemented. I also think it would be pretty straight forward.
