Of all the vets, who do you all fear the most? I'm asking fellow vets as well. Comments welcome.


NOTE: When I say "vet" i'm referring to those of us who were at the old forum for a fair amount of time, and are still here (at least some of the time). If you think of a vet I forgot, lemme know, i'll see if this BBS won't let me edit polls.

has the community shrank or is nobody interested?
i'm doing this for the benifit of noobs, so they know who to fight to lose/learn, and who to fight to win/learn less. (E.G. you want to learn, fight Hetz. you want to win, fight someone else.)
then again, i do seem to have a higher win/loss ratio, but i'm a terrible teacher.
as it is, looks like Hetz is better...

Trouble is, Hetzer is the only vet I've encountered as an opponent very often. Can't safely make a comparison.

Whoa, hold on just a New York minute... Firestorm is more feared than ME? ****, I need to start killing people again. Do you realize it's been a full 6 months now that I've not played ToS? Withdrawals are beginning to set in hard.
I'll be sure to kick Firestorms butt at least a couple times here soon.

I won my first battle when you all were not even thinking about ToS ! Was a long and tedious battle though between all crashes of v0.1

Well, I voted for you Larkin. You're the one player that can completely dominate the battlefield that I've played against. I always think I have chance with other players. Not you though. I'm just stunned my callsign is even on the list. There are lots more terrifying players than I.

Well that's obvious. you made the game; of course you're good at it.
what would you call us, larkin? rookies? well then, what are the noobs?

I was just joking. My most feared enemy was this guy called
Lhyrus or Lyhrus or whatever.

I had great respect, he had tricks I won't forget.
I remember him jumping up with his missile boat, firing
a voley and landing out of sight. I thought this tactic
would give big penalties but it didn't. So I patched it
after I lost the battle.

Well I didn't vote for myself, obviously.
Perhaps Firestorm is the only one who did? And how can you fear yourself the most? Is it because you cause yourself to lose? ;P
