DW coming to Steam/Impulse/D2D?

Hi folks.

I'm just curious to know if DW will be seeing a release on Steam/Impulse or D2D at sometime in the near future. I'm really interested in this game however with the increasing number of digital distribution networks around these days i find it hard to keep track of where everything is and have decided to limit myself to these 3 systems.

Or will it be seeing a retail release in the UK sometime?

Thanks

Hi Ocid,

There are no plans to send DW to those other resellers, sorry. As with most of our games, it is exclusive to the Matrix Games Online Store and not available in retail.

I should note though that we keep a record of your purchase in our store and if you ever lose it, you can go to www.findmyorder.com and get another download link and retrieve your serial number at will (you can also register and store your serial number here with us in our Members Club). Once you download it, it just has a simple serial number installation check. You can also take the installer file, back it up to a CD or an external hard drive or a key drive with a text file with your serial number and never need to download it again.

Regards,

- Erik

Hi Erik.

Thanks for the reply. I was just curious seeing as Armada 2526 is on Impulse and Gamersgate and i'm sure i've seen a few other games listed on the forum page availible elsewhere aswell.

I'll probably end up breaking down in the future and end up buying it doing what you suggested to do.

Good! I am not a fan of Steam.

I am a fan of Impulse, but I finally decided to buy through Matrix since DW was otherwise unavailable. I actually bought Armada 2526 through Impulse for the main reason that from what I understand the actual programmer gets more of the proceeds that way. I am not poor, so I will try out and support with my hard earned cash any decent looking 4x games, especially from independent developers. I just hope that DW can get noticed and be financially successful without being sold by the big online retailers, its more a matter of publicity in my mind...
