Daylight pathfinder bombers

Do daylight B-17 and B-24 pathfinders act just like night time pathfinders, allowing me to bomb with some accuracy during bad weather during the day? [&:]
Pathfinders will attempt a radar bombing if they can't bomb visually. If the raid has a primary and secondary, and neither can be spotted it will radar bomb the sec. If the raid has a primary only, it will radar bomb the primary.
Basically, it will prevent the raid from seeking targets of opportunity...
