I've been playing as German against the AI several times but on D3 just as I think I got a chance of getting a minior Victory the AI kicks in a counteroffensive changing the score into a minior defeat.

Is it possible to do better playing German side?

Yours Sincerely
Henrik Malmvig

I got a hard-fought draw, playing on the painfully realistic delay setting, but I'm sure more accomplished gamers can best that - as this is a tough one it would be nice if people posted a picture of their AAR screen to see who did better - all in a kind of friendly competition [;)]

Some of the playtesters did get a better result, so it's possible. As the scenario designer, I can give you a hint: sometimes it's best not to obey all the orders your superior gives you in the briefing [;)].

But ... but .... what about "Befehl ist Befehl" then ? [:D]

Anyway, Marginal Victory with 27 points difference and that's scraping the bottom of the barrel of my capability as a commander so I'm not even going to try for the 50 point difference required for a decisive ... until I've had a good look at this scenario from the US pov [;)] I've refrained from doing so up to know as it kills the enjoyment if you know too much

Great scenario Pieter - really enjoyed it.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to say that from what I'm seeing you've all done an excellent job - above and beyond - Wargame of the Year without a shadow of a doubt.

Greetz,
