Hey Marshall!

Got a new laptop recently, tried copying over the game and the playtest versions I have, and kept getting an error. Talked to Eric, and he recommended re-downloading the digital version I bought so many moons ago, which I did, the 1.0 version.

Downloaded the latest game patch, but when I try and run the program I get a Divide by zero error and the games closes.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Todd

No immediate ideas but you're not the only person who has seen this.

Someone from a game I'm in had to drop out with this problem on a new install on a new Windows 7 machine -

"when I try to load the game I get a warning
user account control
do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer.
yes or no
I have tried it both ways and get same results
eianw.exe has stop working
a problem caused the program to stop working correctly
I also get twenty or thirty warning boxes
eianw
in the box it says
X division by zero"

Does this sound like your error ? Are you running Windows 7 ?

Try a fresh install then reboot! We have seen this before BUT have yet to isolate.
Are you installing v1.00?
I have asked that they bump the golden fresh install to at least 1.05 since the file structure is different but don't think this has happened yet???

DC,

Am running XP, the one with the option to upgrade.

Marshal,

Tired a fresh install, same problem. The only download I have access to is the 1.0, and then running the last patch, which I tried.

Same problem.

Have you tried uninstall, then registry update, then reboot before fresh install? I've done this with other problematic applications and sometimes it helps. Just a thought.

Tried that to. No go.

I suspect its something to do with trying to upgrade from 1.0 to 1.07...

Thanks for the help though,

Todd

Todd:

Try installing 1.00 THEN 1.05 THEN 1.07!
See if this helps!
Let me know...

Marshall,

The 1.05 update is no longer available for download, at least through the downloads link in the support section.
