some questions about bonuses?

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

some questions about bonuses?

Post by jnpoint »

I need some information, I might just have overlooked:
what bonuses do you get for dug-in, entrench and fortify?
what bonuses do you get for having a location higher than the enemy?

Looks like you are a bit hung up on old game concepts of CRTs and the like. This game resembles reality. Do you think that your guys will be safer dug in? Then a real commander who believes that to be so will allow his guys to dig in!
You have an advantage if you are dug in, you have an advantage if you're higher. That's what a real commander goes for and what you should aspire to.

Units firing up have a 0.8 and units firing down a 1.2 modifier on their effectiveness. The values for the deployment types depend on other factors. Suffice to say that they range from 0.5 to 0.125.

No humor? I will not annoy you anymore. Just say, that I will use it, when I plan.
