Playing in windowed mode - can't see all of user interface

Hi
I am playing in windowed mode @ 1680*1050 and have got to a naval combat screen. However i can only see 2 and a bit buttons at the bottom of the screen. I pressed the bottom one (couldn't see what it did) and now all buttons are greyed out - though i assume there are other buttons i can't see??
So i'm stuck and will have to close and lose all my turn

not sure what you mean by this? what options are there?
(its a win7 64bit system / 32 bit colour)

So if you are playing windowed mode with resolution similar to your desktop, some of the game screens might not fit into the window.
Please try to run the game in windowed mode with one level smaller than your desktop.

In windowed mode for monitors with native resolution of 1680x1050 the biggest reasonable resolution is 1440x900. I suggest to change resolutions to 1440x900 for windowed mode or switch to full screen mode in 1680x1050.
