Are you planning to complete this in a future patch?
-the right side tabs show no text.

I believe this is what he is describing.

I haven't mentioned it before, I thought it might be just my PC.

Yes I have .NET 3.5 and I just installed your recommended download and
I also re-installed the EDITOR.

The tabs are still blank.

AH4Ever, are you using separate installer that was released some time ago, or the new one that is already included with the game?

I was using the pre-release version
found here:

I just uploaded version 1.02,

http://www2.wastelands-interactive.com/ ... Editor.exe

I just uninstalled it and ran the version found in the game.

same result, blank tabs.

Laptop Specs:
HP Compaq 8710w
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU 2.6GHz
4GB Ram
Graphics Card NVIDIA Quadro Fx 1600M
I've tried different resolutions, same result; blank tabs.
(it does work on my desktop machine (Vista) , so I guess it's my laptop, (windows xp).

My PC Specs can be found here:

My Story ...

I installed SOP and the pre-release editor on my Dell laptop, the game works. However both editors will not run at all they generate a MS error report immediately.

Life is like a bunch of PC's... You never know what apps will run where.

For whatever it's worth, I'm on a Windows 7 system, Nvidia GT220, 4 Gig ram.

My editor has the tabs on the right side ok.

Slightly O.T. Just a question about terrain tiles.
each type is 3 rows of 6 hexes.
row 1 normal
row 2 snow
row 3 mud
Q: when placing onto map, can a specific row 1 tile be selected? or is it randomly chosen?
I placed numbers onto some of the terrain, and the existing scenario maps appear quite random in their placement.
I only raise this, as I'm trying to make terrain appear more realistic, than just blotchy hexes.
The best map making editor I have ever used is from TOAW, those mountains and forests grew organically from the cursor.
thanks

I assume sea edge hexes are not, otherwise river estuaries would be incorrectly orientated.

Maybe this will help as .NET 3.5 doesn’t include 2.0 :

Did we find a solution to this. I have the same problem. I am not sure what Anraz is trying to say as to the solution. I tried to download the version 2.0, but since I already have 3.5 installed it would not install.
