I normally prefer to use counters, but I had to change to another kind allowed by the game because the counters are hard to distinguish. For example, the counters for Siam are identical to those of Japan (except for a small flag too small to see), although they are on opposite sides. I hope someone will come out with a counter mix (NATO preferred - but different colors for different countries), because none of the 4 kinds available in the game are fine for me.

The sprites have bases that are too big and waste space, and the stylized I don't like (why big square flags for air units and small ripped flags for infantry, and why the same color for all nations? Again the small country flags are almost too small to see.

BTW, what is the meaning of the small colored squares below the counters?
