I just bought the game and tried to install it(AcrosstheDnepr2-SetupRelease-DR-v120a/87mb). Immediately after the first dialog screen for installation, I get the attached error. I don't even get to the screen for entering my serial number.

I've tried installing as Admin, as well as normally. Turned off AVG and tried that, no luck. Never had a problem installing any other Matrix title.

Windows 7 64bit, latest drivers, DirectX.

Reinstalled Kharkov and it seems to work. Must have messed something up somewhere. Nothing to see here, move along!
